3. Building complex scenes

In many cases, it will be desired to employ a variety of visualization methods on a set of data and build a complex scene [10]. This goal may be easily achieved with visualization servers. Since each visualization creates visualizible objects which is transmitted to the client as a ".wrl" file, these objects may be collected and combined at will by the user. VRML supports the combined viewing of several ".wrl" files with it's WWWInline command. In the simplest case, this may be done by manually creating a trivial file. Such a file consists of just a list of WWWInline commands which force the VRML Viewer to display all selected VRML worlds simultaneously. More complex tasks will be better performed with the help of VRML Editors which are readily available (e.g. [16], [2]).
