The run-time flow data evaluation system is considered to be the prototype of a decision support system for the windtunnel crew. It also provides a feasibility study of advanced data evaluation and parameter optimization needed for expert systems which could help to control the windtunnel experiments in complex setting. The combination of such post-processing tools with the modern object-oriented data acquisition system DeAS opens new opportunities to add complexity to windtunnel tests without the costs of increasing windtunnel running time.
