Cause the NetCDF is an important data format in the area of science, a special tool was designed to provide the possibility to read in data from a NetCDF data file and write it back into a NetCDF file. Because of the different format, the structure of the NetCDF module differs to the other tools.
gr_getcdf -cdf test.cdf -k0 X -k1 Y
will read the data fields x and y and print it out.
